This pendant was inspired by the structure of the South African Large Telescope at the Sutherland Observatory. We visited the telescope while on holiday in 2014 and were lucky enough to see it change position, which only happens once every few weeks when a new researcher's time on the system begins.

All components were locally produced and assembled in-house using locally sourced metals.
