These earrings were inspired by the dome of the Southern African Large Telescope in Sutherland. The delicate balls are 3D printed with wax in one single piece and cast in the precious metal of your choice, then smoothed, polished and threaded onto a hand-shaped wire hoop of the same metal. The balls have open spaces and move and spin freely on the wire hoop.
The hoops (including the ball) are 50 mm long and 33 mm wide and the balls are 16 mm in diameter.
