This 5.76 carat natural peridot is the colour of spring leaves in the late afternoon sun. Peridot’s yellow overtones are especially well complimented by the rich yellow colour of 18K and 22K yellow gold. This beautiful gem’s clear depths and unusual pavilion cut will create a mesmerizing center piece for either a pendant or a ring.

Peridot (pronounced peh-ri-doh) forms in the mantle of the planet and is carried to the surface during volcanic eruptions, therefore deposits are often found near volcanoes, extinct or active. Large stones of gem quality from these deposits are rare.
