About Morganite:
Species:Beryl Deposits found in:Afghanistan, Brazil, China, Madagascar, Mozambique, Namibia, Zimbabwe, USA (Utah & California) Known colours:Morganite ranges from soft pink to salmon or violet. Mohs Hardness:7.5 – 8
Heat treatment can improve the quality of lower grade stones. In Morganite inclusions are uncommon.
