This lovely 2.86 carat natural peacock Tanzanite is both blueish-purple and green all in one stone! Peacock Tanzanite presents different colours when viewed from different angles.

Mohs Hardness: 6.5 – 7
Tanzanite is usually heat treated to improve the blue and/or purple tones. Green, brown, yellow and peacock Tanzanite usually do not respond well to the treatment and is very rare.
Tanzanite is not recommended in rings for everyday wear, but it is possible in a protective setting and if care is taken.
